1000 Threads Films, a fully integrated film design and production studio based in San Francisco, was established in fall 2005 to provide aspiring and established artists with a unique vehicle - documentary films - to launch and strengthen their careers by promoting them to museums, galleries, and non-profit organizations worldwide.
The documentary films produced by 1000 Threads help bring the careers of artists out of their studios and into the greater public consciousness.
1000 Threads works closely with artists to display the richness of their works, to enable the artists to communicate intimately with viewers, and to give the viewers personal insight into the aesthetic and philosophy (and the hidden inner world) of these talented artists.
